Now that we've established that Melanoboost is the best thing to happen to tan lovers around the world, what else does it do for your skin?
Our team spent so much time selecting special ingredients like Buriti Oil, Sacha Inchi Oil and Kakadu Plum to make up our Peptide Sun Tanning Oil. Each ingredient was chosen to offer benefits to a sun exposed skin. We all know that a little bit of sun exposure can do wonders for our overall wellbeing, but there's the niggling fear of sun (free radical) damage as well as overall dryness after a day at the beach! Read on to learn more about what makes this sun tan oil so special.
Melanoboost's base oil selection is packed with so much goodness, your skin will love you for smothering yourself in it! The light weight consistency of our oils absorb super quick to leave your skin with a glossy finish without feeling slimy. Melanoboost is designed to boost your melanin but it's important to maintain the glow and health of the skin beyond tanning!
Our base is made up of 8 nutrient rich oils, all delivering benefits to the skin. Here's a little about what each can provide your skin, on top of an unbeatable tan.
1. Grape Seed Oil
This delightfully light and airy oil can penetrate into the skin rapidly. It's moisturising qualities can help to quash that super dry feeling we tend to get after spending time in the sun, or swimming in the ocean.
Grape seed oil is known to provide antioxidant properties. What does an antioxidant do? In short, antioxidants are packed into quality skincare with the aim to reduce the amount of free radicals. Free radicals can damage skin cells and dramatically affect the appearance and health of the skin. Antioxidants are used to combat free radials. You'll see a lot more of the term 'antioxidant' in the list below!
Our extra special oil! Where do we begin to explain the amazing things Buriti Oil can help to do? We've listed them to keep it straight forward:
3. Sea Buckthorn Fruit Oil
High in Phytosterol, Vitamin E, Beta-Carotene, Anti-Oxidants, and Carotenoid for skin repair and conditioning. Loaded with antioxidants like Vitamin C and E. Omega 7 (Palmitoleic Acid) – the main moisturising EFA (Essential Fatty Acid) can treat burns and heal wounds.
4. Apricot Kernel Oil
Another oil that penetrates the skin with ease, Apricot Kernel Oil is highly moisturising. Great for super dry and aged skin, it will moisturise without leaving you feeling clogged.
5. Kakadu Plum
The world's richest source of Vitamin C; this is a superfood for the skin! Kakadu Plum has, you guessed it, antioxidant properties to assist with preventing free radical damage.
6. Sacha Inchi Seed Oil
Too many good things to list them all! This unique oil another antioxidant and is known to evens out skin tone. Keep that glow fresh and even.
Vitamins A & E have properties known to protect your skin against nasties, speed up skin repair & assist in scar and wrinkle appearance.
Sacha Inchi Oil is rich in Omegas 3 & 6 which can assist in extreme moisture delivery & skin elasticity.
Excellent for those prone to pimples, the linoleic acid found in Sacha Inchi Oils can help to reduce breakouts. Also it is an anti-inflammatory and can reduce redness. A lifesaver for post sun exposure? Yep.
7. Rosemary Leaf Extract:
We couldn't go past Rosemary Leaf Extract; it HAD to make up part of our Peptide Sun Tanning Oil. Why? Because it can do so much for the skin. A little about what its know to assist with:
8. Safflower Seed Oil:
High in linoleic acid (Omega 3s & 6s) which can heal and hydrate. Can soften and smooth dry, rough skin, improves texture of skin. Linoleic acid stimulates the regeneration of new skin cells, meaning that it helps to clear up scars and other blemishes.
The first thing you will notice when looking at the Melanoboost product range is the four vibrant coloured bottles of YELLOW, CORAL, BLUE and GREEN.
Before we talk about the differences between Melanoboost’s four products, it’s important to understand what is the same. BIOMIMETIC PEPTIDES are the fundamental element that powers the entire Melanoboost product range beyond the capabilities of any other sun tan lotion, oil or cream.
NOW let’s take a look at the differences between the four Melanoboost products...
Australia’s one and only peptide powered tanning brand loves to drop a tanning bombshell just in time for summer! And this year is no exception…
To kick of this summer 2019, we are so excited to launch our latest Tri-Phase Tanning triumph - Melanoboost Peptide Sun Tanning Lotion + Bronzing.
We've already introduced you to Melanoboost Peptide Sun Tanning Oil + Bronzing (coral bottle) and Melanoboost Peptide Sun Tanning Lotion (blue bottle) and we know they are firm favourites, so we decided to combine these two best sellers to create a NEW TANNING GAME CHANGER.
Since Melanoboost Peptide Sun Tanning Oil was introduced to tan lovers across Australia and around the globe, the technology has completely changed the way people tan.
Peptides are often used in high end skin care lines to help reinforce naturally occurring proteins in our skin to repair, rejuvenate and maintain it. We have applied those same principles to our Peptide Sun Tanning Oils to help reinforce the natural tanning process by boosting melanin levels.
